“Just after launching a spacecraft to the moon, Israeli billionaire Maurice Kahn chose to use the wealth he had accumulated to help the remote tribes of Ethiopia. In honor of his 90th birthday, Maor Zaguri accompanied him on a one-time journey during which they inaugurated an orphanage for abandoned children who were sentenced to death, established a hospital equipped with the best equipment , and helped cure hundreds of people of blindness.”
Prof. Ben-Simon was on the delegation, and this is what Maor Zaguro wrote about him in the article:
“The surgery was difficult – the man’s eyes are badly scarred and if it weren’t for the skill of the surgeons, Prof. Guy Ben Simon and Dr. Dafna Prat, it’s not certain he would have been successful.”
