Medical delegation for oculoplastic surgeries in Kigali, Rwanda, sponsored by the Heron Foundation

Prof. Ben Simon went on an eye surgery and oculoplastics expedition to Kigali, Rwanda, sponsored by the Heron Foundation.

In honor of his 90th birthday, Maor Zaguri accompanied him on a one-time journey during which they inaugurated an orphanage for abandoned children who were sentenced to death, established a hospital equipped with the best equipment , and helped cure hundreds of people of blindness.”
Prof. Ben-Simon was on the delegation, and this is what Maor Zaguro wrote about him in the article:
“The surgery was difficult – the man’s eyes are badly scarred and if it weren’t for the skill of the surgeons, Prof. Guy Ben Simon and Dr. Dafna Prat, it’s not certain he would have been successful.”

Prof. Guy Ben-Simon is a member of a medical delegation sponsored by Ein Mitzion and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for eye surgeries in Myanmar.

Prof. Guy Ben Simon performs eye surgeries (cataract and oculoplastic surgeries) in India in the village of BHIMAVARAM as part of the VISION 20:20 (SWITZERLAND) project.

Prof. Guy Ben-Simon is a member of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs delegation (led by Prof. Melamed) to the FEDERATION STATES OF MICRONESIA to perform eye surgeries (cataract removal) as well as laser treatments for diabetes.
